Carbon steel----Services

The Carbon steels are all those iron alloys whose proportion of carbon is less than 1%. The proportion of carbon and the heat treatment of the steel determine their properties, such as hardness and mechanical resistance, reason why a great part of the steel is made under a strict control of the carbon content and it is submitted to a later heat treatment, in order to give the appropriate qualities according to the use.

Sandblasting:

Cleaning and preparation service for pipes and fittings surfaces, through a sand flow which wears down the pipe. It removes the residuals of laminating flakes, oxide and paintings that could be stuck.

Painting:

Available service for pipes and fittings, surfaces protection through epoxic layers or general protection.

Beveled:

Endings for piping or fittings connection which forms an angle between the edge of the connection and a perpendicular plane to the shaft of the cylinder, in order to allow the welding with filler materials.

Available service for products in all thickness.

Stainless Steel-Services

The stainless steels are those which have the property of resisting the normal atmospheric corrosion, maintaining their appearance and its mechanical resistance, because of a Chromium content equal or superior than 10,5%. The Chromium forms a chromium oxide film in the surface, which protects the mass of steel from the action of corrosive agents

Beveled:

Available service for products in all thicknesses.

Grooved ends Victaulic:

The Victaulic ends are performed for pipes and fittings Schedule 40 and bigger. This type of ending is used because of the special features of low cost and high versatility, for connections Victaulic type. This service can be performed by wearing down or compression.

Dimensioning:

We can assure the length you are looking for. For lengths in pipes of stainless and carbon steel less than the 6 meters standard, we use cutting discs in order to assure a uniform cut which allows the appropriate connection.
